Initially formed, PKSS occupied an office located in the BRI office complex in the Otista area, Cawang, Jakarta. PKSS itself means a company that provides prime workforce as a means to prosperity. Apart from that, this company also provides qualified personnel who have competitiveness as a means to achieve common prosperity. PKSS not only provided outsourced personnel for BRI but began providing outsourcing personnel for other companies that needed it.

Since it was inaugurated on July 15 1999, this phase is the Multivendor Transition Period. The steps and policies implemented have yielded good results, PKSS has expanded its wings. The company successfully cooperates with a number of business partners. In addition, in this phase, policies are implemented to improve the quality of the workforce and professionalism within the company by providing training and education. This was done in order to answer the challenges of the multivendor transition period.

Since its establishment in 1999, PKSS has grown rapidly and become one of the leading labor supply companies in Indonesia by making improvements in the field of Human Resources by standardizing it. In 2009, PKSS made a new innovation by changing the company logo to a more modern one as a symbol of change, and inaugurated its Head Office which is located at Jalan Warung Buncit, South Jakarta.
